Mit dem Brennweitenbereich von 70 bis 300 mm bietet es einen 4,3fach-Zoom (die Bildwinkel bei Verwendung mit einer Nikon-Digitalkamera entsprechen einem 105-450mm - Zoom an einer Kleinbildkamera). Zwei ED-Glaslinsen (Extra-low Dispersion) sorgen fÃ¼r beste Abbildungsleistung. Die neueste Generation der Nikon Bildstabilisierungstechnologie (VR II) ermÃ¶glicht verwacklungsfreie Aufnahmen aus der Hand mit um bis zu vier Lichtwertstufen lÃ¤ngeren Belichtungszeiten (nach Nikon-Tests). Der Silent-Wave-Motor (SWM) und die Innenfokussierung (IF) garantieren ein schnelles, prÃ¤zises Fokussieren und die Blende mit neun abgerundeten Lamellen sorgt fÃ¼r eine angenehm natÃ¼rliche Wirkung von Vorder- und HintergrundunschÃ¤rfe.
